Science Week 2022

Students enjoyed a fun packed and engaging week of experiments, investigations and active learning to mark Science Week 2022.  First years designed Balloon Rocket Launchers and 2nd years investigated the rate of chemical reactions. 

We also had the Newport Shepherds visiting the school for a workshop in genetics and breeding in mountain sheep and in particular border collie dogs.  All classes enjoyed participating in the workshop

It was a very successful week and most importantly everyone had fun. Thanks to the Science Department for organising an active week to promote the importance and value of this important subject.
