Student Wellbeing

“Student wellbeing is present when students realise their abilities, take care of their physical wellbeing, can cope with the normal stresses of life and have a sense of purpose and belonging to a wider community”. ( NCCA Guidelines for Wellbeing 2018)

Finn Valley College has a proud tradition of caring for its students. We hope to ensure a Wellbeing Culture is enshrined in all aspects of school life.We hope to also ensure that students have opportunities inside and outside of the classroom to have educational experiences which will contribute to their wellbeing, such experiences to include physical, social, emotional, creative  and intellectual wellbeing events. These events may be co-curricular, extra-curricular or stand alone wellbeing initiatives.
