Congratulations to 5th Year and TY students who received their Junior Cycle Profile Awards this week. Principal Mr Mc Fadden, addressed the group and commended the students.

It is great that the school has the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the commitment students have made to their studies and their participation in the extra curricular life of the school”.

Mr Mc Fadden

Ms Boland Deputy Principal and Yearhead Ms C Mc Granaghan also presented the certificates to students and congratulated them on their achievements. To celebrate this special occasion, students and class teachers were rewarded with some lovely treats from the canteen.

Thanks to our Junior Cycle Co-ordinator, Mr Godliman for his hard work in collating the JCPAs each year, it is very much appreciated.

JC Co-ordinator Mr Godliman, Deputy Principal Ms Boland with teachers and SNA’s congratulating students on their certificates.

The JCPA captures student achievements in a number of assessment elements undertaken over the three years of junior cycle. It also reports on students’ achievement in Classroom-Based Assessments (CBAs) in subjects and short courses and achievements in Level 2 (L2LPs) and Level 1 Learning Programmes (L1LPs) as well as Wellbeing.

The JCPA is a lovely way of celebrating students knowledge, talents and skills. Well done to all and we hope that each student continues to strive to achieving their best as they progress with their studies at Senior Cycle.
