Past pupils charity match

Current staff and students line up ready to take on our stars of yesteryear…

A current staff and student selection (With a few guests!) took on an All-star team of past pupils from the victorious Two-time Ulster winners of a few years back in a charity game in aid of the Oncology Department of Letterkenny General Hospital.

The game, played in great spirits, on a fine May evening in front of a nice crowd ended in a fair 2-2 draw and offered genuine quality and entertainment to those in attendance. Afterwards both sets of players and spectators gathered in the Valley Bar for a raffle and quiz that raised over One thousand Euro for the Oncology Department in LGH.

Huge thanks are due to Aaron Kelly, Ryan Gildea and Shane Elliot for organising the two teams and to Tara Catterson as ref. To the Finn Valley Centre, Conor and Niall for the kind use of the pitch and premises and finally to the many staff and students from school for all their help and to everyone who helped to make the night such a great success.
