Business in the Community – World of Work
Our 2nd Years Business Class enjoyed an exciting and memorable trip to SITA premises as part of the Business in the Community Initiative (BITC).
The class was given lots of opportunities to showcase their skills and creativity. They were challenged to design apps and present their ideas using a storyboard approach. The visit allowed them to develop keyskills of groupwork, innovation and presentation skills.
Business teacher Ms Clarke was very proud of how motivated and confident the group was in the tasks. She was also delighted to meet past students Aaron Mc Groarty and Cathal Patton who are now employed by SITA.
Many thanks to Ms Pamela Kearney (BITC) and Ms Louise Magee (HR SITA) for facilitating the workshops.
