5th Year Geography Fieldtrip
The 5th year Geography class ventured out to Gartan Outdoor Education & Training Centre on Tuesday, May 7th, for an enriching experience applying their knowledge in a field study. This sunny day provided the perfect backdrop for their exploration of how geomorphic processes, specifically transportation and deposition, have shaped the surrounding landscape.
Students actively participated in a range of experiments and activities focused on the river’s role in shaping the environment. The data and knowledge gained from this field trip will be crucial for their upcoming report, which will account for 20% of each student’s final grade.
Thanks to Ms Ní Domhnaill and Ms Mc Kean for organising and facilitating the fieldtrip. We look forward to their insightful reports!
