Well being Initiatives
Christmas Card Competition
The School Student Wellbeing Team organised a whole school initiative where students were given the opportunity to design a Christmas Card to represent FVC.
This Competition has been very successful. We have been blown away by the 18 very creative entries. For this year’s design we asked the students to incorporate the Ethos Theme: Excellence in Education.
This Years winner of the Art Hamper was: Ryan Wilson pictured below being presented by Wellbeing Student 3rd Year Team Member Ms K Temple O’Rourke and Mrs Molloy Wellbeing Co-ordinator. Well done on such a creative design.
Jigsaw Talk to 1st Year Students
We would like to thank ..
Amy Mc Rory, Youth & Community Engagement Worker from JIGSAW Donegal who came in to deliver a talk to all the 1st years in the school, explaining the valuable services that JIGSAW provides.
The aim of this talk was to make young people aware of JIGSAW’s approach to mental health, as well as their online & in -person service and many more activities they have to offer.
Organised by Well-being Co-ordinator M.Molloy, the students really engaged in this experience and were made aware of the support on offer by visiting the link attached https://jigsaw.ie/location/donegal/
