Our school encourages all students to participate in all aspects of school life as much as possible. We believe that active participation in whole school activities is the key to a happy, complete and successful education. The school offers our students a wide range of opportunities to engage whole school activities. These range form sport to drama and music as well as active membership of a number of different committee and participation in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
Sport plays a very important role in the life of our school. The school prides itself on its sporting ethos. Wholehearted participation, enjoyment and an enthusiastic nature are all valued. The school may be small in stature yet quite often we compete successfully at the highest levels in many sports, and indeed several of our students have gone on to compete at the highest levels. Some of the sports offered include soccer, gaelic, basketball and athletics all of which are offered to both boys and girls.
Our students are also encouraged to get involved in the school’s Annual Christmas Variety Concert, a wonderful and fun way for students to showcase their talent, creativity and wit. Students can get involved as either cast or crew.
