Best Wishes
It was with mixed emotions that staff and students bid farewell to the final week of the school year of 2022. Everyone is grateful to see normality return to our classrooms over the last few months and to get the opportunity to enjoy school life to the full.
Our Leaving Cert classes celebrated their final day in FVC with a lovely breakfast in the canteen and took the opportunity to thank their class teachers and staff for all their help over the last number of years. They enjoyed looking at old photos and sharing stories about the goals they had aspired to in first year. We hope that they have many successes in the next stage of their journey and we wish all our Junior and Leaving Cert students best of luck in the upcoming exams.
We also had the opportunity to wish our staff members Ms Bernie Summerville who is retiring and Mr White who is taking a career break the very best on their endeavours. We will miss these wonderful members from the team and know that their contribution to teaching and support to our school community will also be sadly missed. We thank them for their dedication and making the difference to so many students whose aspirations came true due to their advice and guidance.
With goodbyes in mind, it is with great excitement that we are now thinking of our incoming First Years who are treasuring the last days of 6th class and preparing for the transition to FVC. We would like to congratulate Abbie Cassidy for designing the fabulous postcard below which our present first years students personally wrote to each 1st year student welcoming them to their new school. We look forward to meeting you all in September.
We hope all our school community have a relaxing summer and enjoy this time making memories.
