Step up to Secondary School Programme

First years had a great day on Thursday participating in the Step Up to Secondary School Programme which was kindly delivered by Karen Murphy.

Karen and the mentoring team facilitated the groups in numerous activities and games to enhance team building and creative skills. Students participated in a Team Tower building competition and a “National You Decide Day” where they got to meet students from other class groups and build on new friendships.

The day was spent outdoors so fun games such as Splat and Human Bingo were enjoyed by all.  Thanks to Ms O Regan (BFLT) for organising and to all the staff who supervised the fun packed day. As always Karen Murphy has given the students the confidence to “step up” and enjoy secondary school at FVC.
