Christmas wishes
We wish everyone in the Finn Valley community a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
The final few days of school before the holidays were filled with opportunities for our students and staff to showcase our school ethos as they displayed their talents and acts of kindness. Below is a snapshot of memories of our students and staff in action bringing cheer and goodwill to all.
Festive Cheer and Spreading FVC Goodwill
A big thank you to all students, parents and staff who donated items to the St. Vincent de Paul hampers this Christmas. A total of 17 large hampers were donated to Mary, Teresa and Gerry, who volunteer with SVP Ballybofey & Stranorlar. Thank you to Miss Diver, Miss Crumlish and our students who helped to organise this project for a very worthy cause.
Our Music students, along with teacher Ms. Bogle and SNAs Jennifer, Shannon and Geraldine, visited St.Joseph’s Hospital to brighten the day of the patients and staff. As part of class Keenan’s CSPE project, they organised hampers filled with gifts and entertained everyone by singing Christmas songs. Well done to all for showcasing the true spirit of community and kindness. Thanks to all, especially to Ms Ni Dhomhaill, Ms Bogle, our Music students and class Keenan.
Well done also to the group for entertaining us all when Highland Radio invited our school choir to perform live on their Christmas Show.

Enchanting Disney Christmas Show
Our talented students and staff brought fun and music to stage at the Balor Theatre with enchanting performances, bringing our favourite Disney characters to life.
Well done to all for their creativity and energy in four fantastic performances, making each Christmas show truly unforgettable.
Annual Christmas Party at Jackson’s Hotel
The week culminated with our annual Christmas party at Jackson’s Hotel. Everyone was in great spirits as we enjoyed the beautiful carol service, music and dancing with our resident DJ Mr Mc Daid. Thanks to Miss Boland for organising this traditional FVC event and to everyone who helped in making it such a fun day.
