Prizegiving 2024
What a proud day for our new Principal Mr Séan Mc Fadden as he addressed the students and staff at his first Prizegiving in Finn Valley College.
It was a wonderful ceremony, celebrating our talented students and their remarkable achievements across a variety of awards which recognised success academically and in extra-curricular activities. Mr Rory White, MC for the ceremony welcomed our special guest, Dr Martin Gormley, Director of Schools of Donegal ETB, who delivered an inspirational speech, reminding us that education is the passport to a world of opportunity.
Our students were awarded for their successes under the 5 Core Values underpinned by our School Ethos of Excellence in Education, Care, Respect, Equality and Community. Mr Mc Fadden spoke of the importance of teamwork which is a hallmark of the success of our school. He thanked the Prizegiving Committee for organising such a lovely ceremony. He commended the students on their achievements and acknowledged the support of staff, parents, our Board of Management, our Parents Association and our partners in the community.
Congratulations to all our recipients pictured below who have shown persistence, strived towards success, displayed creative minds and valued empathy and kindness along the way. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our students.
