Key Programme 2011/2012

After the fourth and final residential for the Key Programme, the students from Finn Valley College were very successful in the awards ceremony.

All twelve students received certificates for their success in the Business and Enterprise Training throughout the four residentials.

  • Aaron Kelly came second out of the 36 students (from 3 different schools) for his participation, effort and enthusiasm throughout the four residentials. An excellent achievement and well deserved.
  • Chris Darby won the Best Personality Award and Best Sales Skills Award at the ceremony. He has now been nominated for the top award of overall Best Personality of the Key Programme 2011/2012. This is a fantastic achievement as the Key Programme includes hundreds of students from different counties in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The winner will be announced on the 21st May 2012 in the Waterfront in Belfast, in front of hundreds of students from many different schools.

This is an incredible achievement and we wish Chris the best of luck. The other students who were on the Key Programme with Chris and their teacher Miss Diver will attend the awards ceremony to support him on the 21st May 2012.

  • Overall, the 12 students who represented the school at the Key Programme 2011/2012 participated very well and were a real credit to Finn Valley College.
