“I found the theme growth to be very interesting as it can mean physically getting bigger or growing as a person.
I started with a lily in a pond with acrylic paint, however along the way I lost the passion to continue the piece as I didn’t find it interesting.
I then went to watercolours and drew a phoenix as I thought the phoenix symbolises growth the best, which I also stopped doing after finding it to be too messy.
I resorted to paint over the lily and drew a phoenix in acrylic which I found to be more saturated and pleasing to look at.
This was an eventful journey and I hope to have another one again soon.
