Local beautician Shannagh Cassidy giving tips to some senior girls

A group of senior girls have been participating in a basic Beauty/Make up course as part of their Bronze Award in Gaisce.  In order to achieve this award they must complete one hour each week over a 13 week period learning/developing a new personal skill.

During  this course they will learn how to apply make up, prepare/groom themselves for interviews, learn how to protect their skin using the proper skin care routine and much more.
Shannagh has kindly volunteered her time out of her very busy schedule to come to the school and educate the students in these areas.
