[lang_ie]Bhí rírá agus ruaille buaille san aer ar an Chéadaoin seo caite nuair a fuair na trí scór (60) daltaí as Coláiste na Maoile Ruaidhe a gcuid torthaí Ard Teist. Dúirt Príomhoide na scoile – Ms Fiona Ní Teampaill “go raibh gach duine an-bhródúil as ár mic léinn ar fad” “Is seo am spreagúil agus dúshlánach dóibh agus iad ag leanúint ar aghaidh ina saol. Fuair cuid mhór dár mac léinn torthaí an-ard le roinnt acu thar 500 pointe agus iad anois ag pleanáil ar chúrsaí céime san Eolaíocht, Dlí, Gnó agus go leor freisin ag dul ar aghaidh sa teagasc. Tá neart deiseanna amuigh ansin sa lá inniu do dhaoine óga. Tá sé i ndáiríre, a deir sí, lena gcuid obair chrua agus tiomantas leanúnach na foirne anseo go bhfuil an todhchaí ag amharc maith dóibh. Guím gach rath orthu go léir agus déanaim comhghairdeas leis na baill fhoirne agus mic léinn araon”.

Labhair roinnt do na daltaí fós – Dúirt Quinn Casey Boyle go raibh sé thar a bheith sásta leis na pointí arda faighte agus go bhfuil toradh maith ar an obair chrua. Fuair sé A2 sna hábhair Ardleibhéal Ealaín agus Béarla. Tá Sarah Guinan a fuair A1 san Fhisic agus Ceimic Ardleibhéal le leanúint a deir sí, fhad le hOllscoil Ghlaschú nó Ollscoil na Ríona ag staidéar bitheolaíocht. Cén fáth nach mbeidh sí an-bhródúil as na torthaí sin?

Comhghairdeas leo uile.[/lang_ie]

[lang_en-uk]There was great excitement last Wednesday as approx. 60 Leaving Cert students received their results at Mulroy College. Ms Fiona Temple the Principal stated “we are very proud of all our students, this is a very exciting and challenging time for them as they are embarking on another phase in their lives. Many of our students received very high results with some over 500 and planning for degree courses in Science, Law, Business and many also going forward into teaching. The opportunities that are available now for young people and exceptional. It is really with their hard work and the ongoing commitment of the staff her at Mulroy that the future looks so bright for them. I wish them every success for the future and congratulate both staff and students on their success.”

Many students also commented on their delight: “I’m delighted to get such high points and I’m glad all the hard work has paid off, an A2 in higher Art and an A2 in higher English, delighted!” stated Quinn Casey Boyle. Sarah Guinan who is hoping to continue her studies in molecular biology in either Glasgow or Queens was particularly proud “I’m really happy to get such high grades, an A1 in higher Physics and Chemistry is great, so proud of that”.
