Read DL 2014[lang_ie]Is tionscnamh léamh atá i gceist le READ DL 2014 a tháinig ó thionscadal Leabhar Amháin, Pobal Amháin go domhanda agus anseo sa Chontae arís i mbliana tá na páistí ó bhunscoileanna áitiúil, scoileanna dara leibhéil (cuid acu faoin Bhord Oideachais agus Oiliúna) agus roinnt Ionad Acmhainní Teaghlaigh sásta agus tiomanta leis an leabhar cáiliúil a léamh do chuid Joe Brennan – DONEGAL FOLK TALES. Tá a lán rudaí éagsúil ag tarlú leis an READ DL seo agus bhí an seoladh oifigiúil sa Leabharlann an Contae ar an Déardaoin  seo caite 6ú Márta  agus leanfaidh rudaí ar siúl suas go dtí 9 Aibreán. Mar pháirt acu siúd thar na cúig seachtaine (ach suas go dtí an spriocdháta 28 Márta) tá Comórtas Scríbhneoireacht Chruthaitheach 2014 do Scoileanna agus fós ceann do Dhaoine Fásta  agus comórtas eile Gearrscéal 6 Fhocal. 

Tig leis na hiarratais bheith curtha sa phost nó fágtha istigh fhad le Brid Mc Intyre, Ionad Oideachais Aosaigh, Oifigí Riaracháin, Bord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Dhún na nGall, Ard Uí Dhomhnaill, Leitir Ceanainn nó níos fearr arís iad a sheoladh ar ríomhphoist chuig bridmcintyre@donegaletb.ie. [lang_en-uk]READ DL 2014 is a reading initiative inspired by the One Book, One Community project worldwide and pupils from numerous National Schools locally and throughout the County, Post Primary Schools many of them ETB schools and also Family Resource Centres are all involved again this year and at least 1300 books have been distributed to libraries throughout the county. All involved  are undertaking the reading of the newly published collection of Donegal’s best loved legends and fairy tales – DONEGAL FOLK TALES – by author Joe Brennan. Events were officially launched on World Book Day last Thursday  6th  March  (7.00 p.m.) in the Central Library, Letterkenny and will continue to the official close on April 9th next. As part of the various events over the 5 week period there is a flash fiction Creative Writing Competitions with the theme of Urban Myths for schools and adults and also the Short Story in 6 Words  where book vouchers can be won for some of these competitions. Entries can be sent by post or delivered to Brid Mc Intyre, Adult Education Centre, Donegal ETB Admin.Offices, Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny or preferably indeed by e-mail to bridmcintyre@donegaletb.ie on or before the deadline of Friday March 28th. The entries for the Short Story in 6 Words should be emailed to readdl2014@gmail.com as this actual competition will be voted on online through Facebook.
